Deleting transactions without affecting Cash

Hi Mark,

I need to delete several transactions ((buys and dividend reinvestments) for an investment. How can I do this without the deletion affecting the Cash account. I tried deleting the transactions but saw that my Cash balance had changed.

Hi Ally Hasen,

If you don't want the associated default cash transaction deleted too, you'd have to temporarily change the default cash to "(none)" in the properties of your sub-portfolio, and then delete the transactions.

If you edit or delete a transaction that has a corresponding default cash transaction, that cash transaction will also be edited/deleted.
