FMS update issue

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

I moved and restored FMS to a new laptop a couple days ago, it's a Macbook with the new M1 processor and I am using parallels virtual machine. Everything seems to be running fine until I tried to download a FMS update yesterday when I got this error message.

Any fixes?

Hi Oscar,

Is that file there? The FMAdmin.exe file is responsible for getting updates when you request them. It should be installed to the same folder as your FM.exe file, and you need to be able to run it as an Admin. You might make sure you "installed" FM to this folder, and not just copy the folder from your old computer.

Thank you Mark, there seemed to be an issue with the Parallels/Windows configuration that is fixed now so everything is working.
