Convert to common currency?

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Hi everyone,

I'm in Canada and have investments on the TSE, NASDAQ, and NYSE. I would like to know if there is any way that I can automatically see my portfolio values in Canadian dollars?

I do keep a dummy investment of the exchange rate [CADUSD=X on Yahoo], so the daily factor is stored within the FM data structure. I just can't see any way of applying the factor though.

thanks
Don

Hi Don,

Yes, you can. You need to define the Canadian dollar as your default currency and specify your exchange rate investment under "Options / Currency Settings...". Then, turn on "View / Exchange Rate Adjusted". For a detailed tutorial on doing this, please see:

Thanks,
