Hi genet,

What window are you looking at? Are you talking about the "Value Change" or "Change" columns in the Portfolio Editor? Or, are you looking in the legend of a Graph window? Please try to clarify what you're looking at, so I can help better.
Thanks,
Mark

I open the program
click on open portfolio
in the open portfolio the screen shows
name-symbol-price-shares-value-basis-VALUE CHANGE
Should value change show the difference in value between basis and value ?
the value change column shows all zeros

Hi genet,

No, the "Value Change" is defined as:

"change in market value of investment or sub-portfolio from yesterday to today"

So, if you don't have a market price for today, the value change will be zero. If you retrieve current prices for today, you should then see a value change from yesterday.
Thanks,
Mark
