I'm having a weird problem with one mutual fund. The %change-LD column will always be 0 from day to day, and the Yield Inception column always shows "NA" as a value. If I run the report "ROI Yield", that fund will again shows NA , even though I have monthly transactions entered in it dating from february to today. It's the only fund that does that, all the rest are showing correct values in the columns and the report. Is there something that would make those column not being able to calculate the value correctly? I reviewed the properties of that fund compared to the others but I see nothing out of the ordinary.
Hi kinwolf,
For the N/A yield, run the report, and then choose "Help / Report Calculation Log..." and you will get an explanation of why you're getting an N/A for the yield. For the %Change-LD being 0, open up that investment in the Data Register, and set the Data Type to Prices. Make sure you are sorting by date (should see a small arrow in the date column header). If you aren't, click on the date column header. What is the date/price of your last recorded price in this investment? What is the date/price of the price just before this date?
Hi,
Ah, that seems to be the problem(although I have bo idea on how to fix it). When I look at the Prices and date, I see the last date as 30/11/15 and the one before that is 16/11/15. It's like that for every month, the prices are there only twice a month instead of being there daily. Weird as I checked every other mutual funds and they have daily prices. It seems to be the same problem for the Report as the log mention checking the pricing data for that fund.
Hi kinwolf,
I'm not sure how often those are priced, but it sounds like that does explain the problem.
