General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.
by DKonigsbach » Wed May 14, 2014 9:56 pm
Since upgrading to Fund Manager 2014, each time I start Fund Manager it tells me that my evaluation period has expired. I re-enter the license information, it's accepted, and things are fine for the rest of the session.
Any idea what could be happening?
Thanks!!!! Dan

Never mind! the .1 upgrade seems to have fixed it.
Sorry not to have tried that first.

Hi DKonigsbach,
Sorry for the troubles. This issue should now be fixed. Please try entering it again one more time now, and if it happens again, email us a screen shot of the filled out license key dialog box, right before you press OK.

Hi Andre,
Did you enter it one more time, after I said it was fixed? If not, please try entering it once more, and see if that doesn't fix the problem. If that doesn't fix it, please email me (don't post it here) a screen shot of the filled out license key dialog, right before you press OK. I will send you an email, so you can reply to that directly with a screen shot if entering it once more doesn't work.

I am suddenly having this same problem: "Evaluation period of Fund Manager has expired. ..." message. I have version 2014.13.6, Quote Module 480, on Windows 8, 64-bit. The app always opens okay though, after I click OK and YES (to register online).

Hi sharpaaa, Our records show you are not licensed for the 2014 series. You have a 12.x license, which I have just re-sent to you in an email now. You can either downgrade to 12.x and use your current license, or you can purchase an upgrade to the 2014 version, and you will receive a new 2014 license. The upgrade fee is $35 for your Personal version. To purchase an upgrade, go here: https://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/register.htmland click on the blue "Buy Now" button, and fill out that form for 1 Personal Upgrade, which should come to $35. If you do choose to downgrade, please note that the 2014 version uses a newer file format, that 12.x won't be able to read. You would need to restore from a backup created before you started using the 2014 version. To download the last 12.x version you can get that here: https://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/download_old_fm.php
