Can I set up a dummy (virtual) portfolio without actually making trades? If so, how?

Hello,

Yes. You can either set it up manually in the Portfolio Editor window, or use the New Portfolio Wizard.

Portfolio Editor: Open up this window if it isn't already by selecting "View / Portfolio Editor". Right mouse click on an existing sub-portfolio, where you want to add this dummy portfolio. Choose "New Sub-Portfolio..." from the menu, and assign the name you want. Right mouse click on this new sub-portfolio, and choose "New Investment..." to create a new investment. Repeat for additional investments.

New Portfolio Wizard: Select "File / New Portfolio Wizard", and choose to manually enter starting positions when prompted.
Thanks,
Mark
