: : I would like to compare investments from two different portfolios on one plot. Is it possible to plot across portfolios on one graph, in other words?
: : Thanks.

: Hi Marden,

: Yes, you would do this by opening both the investments you want to compare.
: Investments can belong to any number of portfolios. You can also just
: open any investments you want, regardless of what portfolio they are in.
: So, to compare 2 investments, just use "File/Open Investment(s)..." and
: select these 2 investments, and then they will both be open. You can then
: overlay them, or compare them however else you wish. If you plan to compare
: these often, you can even set up a new portfolio with these 2 investments,
: and just open the portfolio when you want to compare them.

: Thanks,

Thanks Mark. The overlay I had in mind, though, was two curves on one plot without adding them. When I use the overlay, I get the two added together.
I can display the two side by side on separate screens, but I can't plot both of them on one screen. Is this right? Or am I confused here? Thanks.

Marden
