: Mark: When holdings are arranged in multiple portfolios, one often wishes to look at one portfolio; close it; and then open another portfolio.

: When I go to file and click close portfolio, I come to an empty screen with an icon available to open portfolios. Clicking this brings me to a screen where I may select a desired portfolio. After this portfolio is opened, there is no icon which is available to be clicked which would return me to either the empty screen mentioned above or alternatively to the screen where I can choose a different portfolio. I could find such an icon to be an advantage.

: Hope I have made this clear enough for you to follow.

: Best regards and Happy New Year. Chuck Pierce, Dana Point, CA

Hi Dana,

A couple of points... You don't need to close a portfolio before opening
another one. Opening a new one, automatically closes the open one. Also,
there is an icon on the toolbar to open a portfolio. By default, it is
the 3rd from the left. You can customize the toolbar under "Options/
Preferences.../Toolbar". It may have got turned off somehow. Also, you
may want to make use of the most recently used portfolio list under the
File menu. That way, you don't have to go through the Open dialog.

Thanks,
Mark
