: I have encountered an anomalie that I think may be an error in the way FM handles specific lot identification of a security that has split since it was purchased. The "Specify Lots" window appears to work entirely in split-adjusted shares, but the cost basis computed for the transaction on the Capital Gains - Specific Lot report seems to treat the number of shares as pre-split values. What I'm seeing is a cost basis that is overstated by the split factor (in my case, 4x because the stock has had two 2-for-1 splits), which grossly overstates my gain/loss.

Hi George,

Something doesn't sound right. It is of course suppose to properly
account for splits. I have just e-mailed you a test investment
showing how this is suppose to work. If you have a different situation
that still isn't working can you either e-mail me that investment
file, or a fake one where you have re-created the problem?

Thanks,
Mark
