sorry if i posted a question on a site where i shouldnt have...it's
just that Quicken no longer has message boards...and i refuse $1.95/minute to resolve this issue...and i cant find any boards that is suitable to post this, but i understand if you want to delete my postings

: : Ok...here's the prob...i have an investment account set up (Brokerage) with a linked cash account. When i download certain transactions like the interest for the linked cash account, it will treat it like a stock (it wants me to pick a fund symbol)...so i have had this symbol in for while, but now sometimes...i try to accept the downloaded transaction (for example a divident of say $30), and it says that i need to break up the transaction into 2 to cover the short sales, or soemthing to that extent.
