It depends on which quote server you are using, they don't all use the
same symbols. You can go to the quote server site with your browser and
look up the symbols. Links to all the quote servers are at:

http://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/intrtv.html

If you're using Yahoo (the default server) you can go to their lookup page at:

http://quote.yahoo.com/l

If you're mostly interested in US indices you can see a nice summary of
these and their symbols at:

http://quote.yahoo.com/m1?u
