: : : : MicroSoft recently fouled up my computer and forced me to reinstall Win95 on a different directory. Now I have to recover or reinstall all the applications I had on my computer. Do I have to download FM and reconstruct all my reports and portfolios? I hope there is a quick way you can get me back to using FM as I have always been using it.

: : : Hi Harry,
: : : You will want to reinstall Fund Manager. You can then continue using your
: : : existing portfolio and investment files from before.

: : : Thanks,

: Mark: I reinstalled FM OK but I don't know where my portfolios & investments are.I looked in MY Data but that has no files. Quo Vadis?

Hi Harry,
You'll have to figure out where your files were being kept. You can store
them wherever you want, so I can't tell you where they're at. You might want
to make use of thw Windows "Find..." command off of the Start menu, and search
your computer for *.dat and *.mm4 files.

Thanks,
Mark
