Getting Investment Info Updated to Portfolios

I have several investments, which I maintain manually. The entries in the investments are correct, however they do not update the Portfolios they are in. Some investments can be used in multiple Portfolios.

I am probably missing something along the way in maintaining the portfolios, any help would be appreciated.
