: : : I am testing the beta version of FMPro (but installed the finished
: : : version over the beta). I put a trendline into a cost/value graph
: : : and now can not get it out. In the edit trendline dialog box there
: : : are many lines listed and they do not delete. The whole dialoge
: : : box runs very slow. I can make and delete trendlines in individual
: : : investments OK. Help.

: : Hi Dan,
: : Is this the "Porftolio Cost - Value" graph, or the investment based
: : "Cost - Value" graph? If it is the investment based graph, then this
: : trendline is stored with this investment, and you should have this
: : investment selected in the "Edit/Trendline..." dialog box. If it is a
: : portfolio based trendline, you select the ""
: : option at the bottom of the list in this dialog. What type of trendline
: : are you trying to delete (portfolio or investment), and what happens
: : when you select a trendline in this dialog and hit the "Delete" button?

: : If you'd like, you can e-mail us the portfolio and/or investments that
: : aren't working right, and we'll take a look.

: in the Edit, View trendlines I choose the >. It stallls
: for maybe 5 seconds and quite a few trendlines show up. When I click on
: one and click on delete the program stalls again, and finally the line
: is deleted. The real problem is that there is an endless list of
: trendlines I can delete 20 and more keep showing up. It liste only two
: dates over and over.

:
: : Thanks,
: : Mark

Hi Dan,
I assume you did not actually create all these trendlines? Sounds like
you maybe have many duplicates somehow... If you can e-mail me the
portfolio (*.mm4) and associated investments (*.dat) I will take a look, and see
what could be the cause.

Thanks,
Mark
