: : : : Hi Mark,
: : : : Another problem I've noticed with trendlines in technical analysis. When you draw a trendline on the lower graph then change to another security and return to the original security the trendline vanishes. The tabulation of the trendline remains, however, the line ifselt is gone.

: : : Hi Ray,
: : : I'm guessing that this is because you have "Options/Markers/Trendlines"
: : : turned off? You can still draw a trendline with markers turned off, so it
: : : will display when you draw it, but the next time the screen redraws, if you
: : : have this type of marker turned off, it won't be drawn.

: : : Thanks,

: : Hi Mark,
: : I checked the settings, the "Options/Markers/Trendlines" is turned on.
: : I also checked the color settings. The background is black and the trendline is set to yellow. The trendlines on the upper graph are fine, however, when drawn on the lower graph they still vanish.

: : Thanks,

: Congrats on a great product. I have the opposite problem. I have drawn trendlines on the RSI graph, and they stay there for all the technical indicators - and are meaningless for those of course. Additionally to solving this problem I would like a permanent line drawn on the RSI graph at 50, above or below 50 having some meaning. Perhaps the current RSI value could also be displayed.

: Re trend lines on the upper graph, these can be only drawn to the current edge. As time moves on they need to be extended, and the Edit feature does not allow that option. I have been deleting the trend line and then redrawing it, so its not a major problem.

: Regarding adjusting the horizontal axis, Pro does not allow "revert to full history". Can this be reintroduced as an additional feature?

: Regards

: Bob

Hi Bob,
Thanks for the feedback/compliment. Yes, the trendlines don't change
for different indicators. Makes sense that they should be specific to the
indicator. I'll see about getting this into the next beta release.

When editing a trendline you can set the start/end date and value numerically.
If you edit the trendline you should see these options? Use either
"Edit/Trendline..." or move your cursor over either endpoint of the trendline
and right click and then choose "Edit Marker" from the popup menu.

The horizontal axis issue was an oversight/bug. This has been fixed,
and will be included in the upcoming beta3.

Thanks,
Mark
