: : Mark,
: : I should have stated the question differently.
: : This company not only had a name change, but a symbol change as well.
: : Is there a way to maintain the historical data (buys,sells,etc.).
: : Can I go into the COMPANY.DAT file and change something there to keep all the existing data.
: : Thanks
: : Rob

: : : : What is the proper procedure for changing a company name? ie. Nexlink Comm. to XO Comm. I still have the same number of shares, etc.. I would like to do this so reports, etc. are not affected.
: : : : Thanks
: : : : Rob

: : : Hi Rob,
: : : Right mouse click on the investment's graph and choose "Investment
: : : Properties...". Under the "General" tab you can change the "Name".

: : : Thanks,

Hi Rob,
Under "Investment Properties..." you can change the name, symbol, and
a lot of other properties. Just go in here and change the name/symbol.
You'll keep the buys/sells all the same.

Thanks,
Mark
