: Are different tickers used between the two Yahoo servers?

: : : When I use Yahoo I several tickers do not update. If I use Yahoo Historical they update. These are for Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA); NASDQ (COMP; and S&P500 (SPX). Why does this happen? I just started to use the internet update because some days I do not get Infobeat Closing Bell email for whatever reason.

: : George,
: : It looks like you're using the wrong symbols. For example, the Dow is ^DJI.

In general they use common symbols. I did see the DJIA was supported
for the historical quotes, but not the current quote. If you use the
ones from the link above, or by doing a ticker lookup on Yahoo they should
be supported by both quote servers. The "Yahoo" and "Yahoo (Historical)"
are really the same server, just a different location on their site.

Thanks,
Mark
