: : I have used Yahoo Quotes for about 2 years to up date both Canadian (TSE)
: : and American stock prices in the same portfolio. Just to-day, Mnoday,
: : Sept. 18,2000 that updates for Canadain stocks on the TSE (e.g. slc.to)
: : only update to Sept.15.
: : Any reason?
: : Thanks

: Hi Jim,
: This sounds like Yahoo was delayed in getting these quotes onto their
: site for some reason or another. I just checked now, and they have the
: quote for your example listed for the 18th. If this happens again and
: you want to check, you can use your browser to go to Yahoo and look up
: the symbol in question. Whatever you see with your browser is the same
: price that FM will get when you do a retrieve.

: Thanks,
: Mark

Thanks for the quick reply!
I checked to-day again, (Tue, Sept. 19) on a Portfolio containing all TSE stocks. Most were updated to Closing prices for 9/19/00. One of the exceptions was SLC.TO; its price stayed at 9/15/00. I also checked View/Dates to make sure that I was looking at the latest dates; the last date was 9/15/00.
I know that I can check prices at Yahoo Canada/Finance so I was wondering if there was something about the file that had been corrupted....?
