: Hi Mark - I just transferred my data files to a new computer. I can download updates but I cannot save the downloaded data because all files have now been set to read-only. There is no info on "files" or "read-only" in the help index. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated. Thanks - Mike F.

Hi Mike,
To remove the "read-only" attribute from your files, go into Windows
Explorer and find your files. Then select all of them, and right mouse
click on them. Choose "Properties" from the popup menu. You will see
a check box for "Read-Only". Turn this off, and hit OK.

Thanks,
Mark
