: : : : Mark, just a question in between, cause I saw you were planning to remove European Investor; would all the Symbol codes stay the same, or, wide speaking, has each server it's own symbol codes or are they less dependent?
: : : : just curious (and wanna try some other servers, but without too much trouble...)

: : : Hi Herman,
: : : Hopefully they would be the same symbols, but I'm not sure about that yet.
: : : We're still looking for the best replacement server. Right now, we're
: : : thinking of:

: : : http://www.stockpoint.com

: : : You might check them out, and let us know if they offer the quotes you need.

: : : Thanks,

: Mark,

: I followed up on your suggestion to check out the symbols used by Stockpoint.
: Although my portfolio is very limited I found that my 7 Amsterdam based stocks
: were all available and under the same symbol as for the European Investor.

: : Hello Mark:
: : I gave Stockpoint a quick glance but -besides they use different ticker symbols - I missed a few / alot funds; also thier search facility is not as easy as it was with european investor...

Hi Hugo,
Thanks for checking this out. Looks like stockpoint will be a
good replacement for European Investor.

Thanks,
Mark
