: Taking it one step further. Is there a way you can create user defined indexes. For example it would be great to plot all banking stocks as a sector and then look at an individual stocks performance against the sector. To achieve you would need some method to create an interpolated price for a stock which had not traded on the day.
: Maybe a future release idea??

: : Yes. You track an index, just like any other investment. Create
: : an investment of type "index" and assign it the proper ticker symbol
: : in order to retrieve prices. Just record that you own 0 shares. See
: : the "Tutorial" on our web site for an example of how to do this. Also,

Hi Martyn,
Thanks for the suggestion. We may be able to do something for this in
the future. We're thinking of adding the ability to open multiple portfolios,
so you could set up a portfolio to track as an index, and then compare
portfolios.

Thanks,
Mark
