: : : : Is there a method to retrieve historical ASX listed company information using fund manager?
: : : : (Great program by the way)

: : : Hi Martyn,
: : : Thanks for the compliment on Fund Manager. I'm not aware of a source
: : : of free historical ASX quotes.

: : : Thanks,
: : : Mark

: : Hi There,

: : Try the data found at "http://www.australian-stockmarket.com/download.html".
: : It is just historical data, and cannot be downloaded directly by Fund Manager.
: : Cheers

: Thanks Roger, that is a great pointer. You can use FM's generic price
: import to import their "ASCII" formatted data. The import string would be:

: ED,XX,HH,LL,NAV,VV

: and you would "specify" the symbol to update.

: Thanks,
: Mark

Hi Martyn

If you have an account with Commonwealth Securities,
you can download a CSV file from their site
and then import it using FM's generic import.

John
