: If i start a new issue, putting mutual fund by mistake, when I later try to change it to a stock, it continues to read as a mutual fund when i try to edit the transaction (e.g., the commission box is unavailable). is there a way to get it to read as a stock, and not a mutual fund, one it has been initiated, or do i have to delete the issue and start over again.
: thanks

Hello,
You can change all of this from within the "Investment Properties..."
dialog. Right click on the investment's graph you want to edit, and then
choose "Investment Properties..." from the popup menu. Change the type
to "Stock" under the "General" tab. Under the "Other" tab, you can change
the transaction entry preference to "Commission Fees".

Thanks,
Mark
