This dialog is available from the Options / Report Preferences... menu command under any Report window.
This dialog page allows you to specify preferences on how all reports are displayed. The following options are available:

Display: |

Display Alternate Lines With Shading |
Controls whether or not to shade alternate lines. The shading color is adjustable under the Report Colors Dialog. |

Hot Highlight |
Controls whether each line is surrounded with a line box as the cursor moves over that line. |
|
Display Cents for Dollar Values |
Toggle on/off cents when displaying dollar values. |
|
Use Commas in Numbers |
Toggle on/off the use of commas in values greater than or equal to 1000. (ex: 1000 versus 1,000) |

Share Digits to Display |
The number of digits to the right of the decimal point to display when showing share based values. This value must be between 0 and 6. |
|
Price Digits to Display |
The number of digits to the right of the decimal point to display when showing share price based values. This value must be between 0 and 6. |
|
Update Investment Stack When Sorting Reports |
When sorting a report using any of the top level Sort menu commands the investment stack order will also be updated to match the sorted order. Leave this option off to keep the investment stack order unchanged due to report sorting. |

Show Asterisk When Interpolating Price |
Displayed prices or yields that used an interpolated price will have an asterisk shown next to them. (Advisor only option. This option is always on in the Personal and Professional versions) |

Portfolios: |

Portfolios Store and Recall Reports |
When this option is on, portfolios will store which reports, along with all their settings, are open. These reports will be recreated whenever you open this portfolio. The report's window size/position is also memorized and restored. |

Float End Date |
When this option is on the ending report date for reports created by an opening portfolio will be adjusted to the current date. |
|
Start Date Relative to End |
When this option is on the starting report date for reports created by an opening portfolio will be adjusted to be the same distance from the ending report date as when it was saved. For example, you may set the start date to be 180 days behind the ending date, such that whenever you open your portfolio the start date will always start off 180 days behind the end date, even if the end date is floating to the current date. |
