Investment Properties - Investment Goal Dialog

This dialog is available by right mouse clicking on any investment in the Portfolio Editor, and choosing Properties... from the popup menu. It is also available by right mouse clicking on any investment in the Graph or a Report window, and choosing Investment Properties... from the popup menu.

This property page allows you to edit the investment goal allocation for this investment. An investment can be allocated among each of the 25 available investment goal categories. The labels used for each of the investment goal categories is adjustable by choosing the "Edit Labels..." button, or with the Category Labels Dialog.

Select an investment goal category, and then choose the "Change %..." button to specify the percentage of this investment that belongs to that investment goal. To change this percentage you may also double click on one of the investment goals, or right click and choose the appropriate menu command from the popup menu. The investment goal allocations can also be imported from a file, which makes bulk editing much easier.

The total allocation for all investment goal categories is shown, and this must equal 100%.

The investment goal allocations for all your investments are summarized in the Goal Allocation report as well as the Investment Goal - Pie, and Investment Goal - Stacked Value graphs.
