Hi gator27,
Quicken has 2 different file formats. Do you know which format you're downloading? There is the *.QFX format, and the *.QIF format. In Fund Manager, under "File / Import / Transactions" there are 2 different import commands:
"Quicken (*.QIF)"
"Open Financial Exchange (*.OFX, *.QFX)"
one for each format. So, make sure you're using the right import command for your file.
Also, when importing, make sure you leave on the option to "Create New Investments as Needed".
If neither of these suggestions help, you can open up your file in a text editor, like Notepad, and verify that your transaction data is in the file. Both of these file formats are text files that you can view in any text editor.
