is there a way to enter "automatically" my regular investments into the Federal Employees' Thirft Savings Plan (our "401 K")? There probably are a number of federal employees who use Fund Manager and being able to download or import these transactions would be very helpful.
Hello H08590,
If they offer an "OFX" server, then we will add support for retrieving your transactions. I believe we currently support all available OFX servers though, so if they're not on our list: http://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/tintrtv.html then they probably do not have an OFX server. You may want to contact the savings plan administrators, and express your desire to them to make your data more easily accessible by offering it on an OFX server. You may be able to download a transaction file through their website though? I'm not familiar with how you access your online information with this savings plan, but you might see if you can download your transactions into any sort of file. You could then "import" your transactions. See the "File / Import / Transactions" menu for all the file formats we support.
