Characters Partially Obscured

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Hi Mark,

I've recently upgraded to FM 11.1 on a new computer running Windows 7-64bit and 22" LED monitor at 1920x1080 resolution.

When I open a portfolio and display the 'Portfolio Editor' window, on the left side is a portfolio structure called 'Master Portfolio'. On the right side is details, Name/Symbol/Shares/Value and below this is Master Portfolio label and the total value number.

On my computer screen, whether 'Portfolio Editor' is in a window or full screen mode, the Master Portfolio label and the total value is only partially visible. What I mean by this is that the lower 15% of the
characters are hidden by the lower edge of the window.

Could you please provide comment on this issue.

Thanks

Clive

Hi Clive,

Could you email me a screen shot of this problem? Also, if you go to "Options / General Preferences... / Portfolio Editor Display" and change the "Font", does that make a difference in the problem?
Thanks,
Mark

Mark, I tried changing the font size as you suggested. At 10 point, it looks fine but any size beyond this the text progressively begins to disappear.

I had changed my default size to 11 point, hence the problem began.

Hi Clive,

Thanks, I see this problem too. The totals section is not properly re-sizing when you select a larger font. We'll get this fixed for the next release. For now, you can either use a smaller font, turn off the totals, or live with the cropped section.
Thanks,
Mark

Thanks Mark,

This is very minor stuff, I'll live with it until the next update.
