Improvement: Save all customersetting

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Postby Ron Myers » Fri Apr 15, 2011 6:15 pm

When a person makes a change to the custom reports, some settings are saved, but others revert to the default. I think all settings should be saved.

For example I like to print reports subtotaled by asset type, but that option is reset to "subtotal by subportfolio" every time I leave the dialog. The dates are not changed, so why not s ave this change also? I think all settings should be saved and not revert to the default.

I am disappointed :( that this simple change was not made to version 11.0.

Hi Ron,

If you have a certain set of options that you like, you can "memorize" them. This option has been in Fund Manager for quite some time. Once you set up the report you like, choose "Edit / Memorize..." and you can give this report a name. That name will be available under the top level "Reports" menu, so you can just click it next time, without having to adjust any settings.
Thanks,
Mark
