Report total less than sum of shown investments

The totals in my portfolio performance report (for Contributions, Withdrawals, and With-Distrib.) is less than the sum of the amounts shown on the report. I have tried selecting "Hidden investments/portfolio" under the View tab. I have also changed the report preferences to "never" to "Do not display investments with zero share balances".
These changes to my report have not provided the solution, any suggestions?

These columns (Contributions, Withdrawals, and With-Distrib.) are slightly unique, in that they will usually not total. The reason is that they are displayed on each line, relative to that line. So, for example, if you buy a stock, you will see on the stock's line a contribution, and on the cash account's line a withdrawal, but at the Sub-Portfolio total level neither that contribution or withdrawal will be included, as they are not contributions/withdrawals relative to the sub-portfolio. They are internal to the sub-portfolio. If you press "Help / Help on Report..." while viewing this report you can read more about this, and also about "External Cash Flow".
