Transaction Report - Improvements

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

I use the transaction report to check imports. Can you add a sub/ total facility at the bottom of the report.

This would make it much easier to check my data.

Hi JohnG,

Thanks for the feedback. What would you like to see a total for? The "Amount"? One difficulty in totaling this report is that you may be adding amounts from different types of transactions, like Buy $1000, a Dividend of $50, etc... Would a total of $1050 by useful? Maybe so, in some cases...

I usually use the filter to list only the data I want to see (generally income payments or reinvested dividends) and check them with bank statements and fund statements

I agree if you don't use the filters the results could be meaningless, but a total figure would be helpful.

At the moment I have to do this by hand.

I can see it being useful in this case. I'll give this some thought...

BTW, if you have many transactions, you can use "File / Export to CSV..." and then sum them in Excel.
