Hey Mark,
Can you give me a custom function for a report for highest nav minus end nav divided by highest nav times 100 if end nav is less than or equal to highest nav with a red negative number.
Thanks for all your help.

Hi Frank,

I'm not sure I followed all the details of your request/conditions, but I think you're asking for something like this:

100*(Highest_NAV-End_NAV)/Highest_NAV

BTW, the End_NAV will always be less than or equal to Highest_NAV.
Thanks,
Mark

yes I think that what I want, how much drawdown from the ytd highest closing nav in percent terms if present nav is less than highest closing nav, can it be made to have a red font and a negative number, and what is the function formula.

Hi Frank,

If you want it to be negative, write the equation accordingly. Negative numbers will automatically be displayed in red. For example, to make this a negative number, it would be:

100*(End_NAV-Highest_NAV)/Highest_NAV

Since, Highest_NAV is always greater than or equal to End_NAV, this results in 0 or a negative number.
Thanks,
Mark

Awesome Mark, thanks for your help. Any way to add this to portfolio editor as well as current yield from custom report.

Hi Frank,

Sorry, no. User-defined fields are only available in the Custom report.
Thanks,
