Vanguard employer account info won't upload

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

I have employer 403b and 457 accounts with Vanguard and cannot get the account information to load in the Portfolio Editor. When I enter the account number (plan number at Vanguard) the program asks for a password. I entered my general Vanguard password (which accesses all my accounts) but this does not work. I do not have another password associated with my employer accounts. My other Vanguard accounts upload fine. Any advice?

Hi michelef,

You can try leaving the account number blank, and retrieve. It will get a list of all available account numbers for your username, and then you can pick it from the list provided. If it isn't listed, then somehow that account isn't associated with your username, and you'd need to contact Vanguard to figure out what username you should be using for that account.
