Internal Transactions not matching

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Mark,

Have run the transaction report with external only filter on a client with a lot of recent transactions and am seeing many "internal" transactions on the report (mostly buys). I've got same dated same amount buy/sell transactions (investment/cash) in the same sub-portfolio showing on the report. Any suggestions?

Hi Elliot,

I'm not sure. Are you using version 12.7? Are you sure they are for the exact same dollar amount (including cents), same exact date, and opposite transaction type (buy investment / sell cash)? If so, and they still show up, can you email us a copy of this report with this external only filter turned on, so I can see it?

Hi Elliot,

Thanks for the backup file. We were able to reproduce and identify the problem. Fund Manager was incorrectly forcing a match to 0.0001 instead of 0.01 in order to be considered a matching transaction. This has been fixed for the 12.8 and later releases. I've e-mailed you a pre-release of 12.8 you can use until it is officially released.
