Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Hi Mark,
If in a "Rebalance" report I click on any given line, this will bring-up a "Performance" report with most of the appropriate filter already selected. However, the "Filter..." option show the "Filter Type" as "Exclude Selected Item" while it should really be "Include Only Selected Item".
Unless I'm mistaken on the intend of that second report that I see as a drilled down report.
Best regards

Hi MichelV,
What are your Rebalance report settings? What are you using for an allocation target? By Asset Type, or what?

Hum!!!
Guess what! It is working as expected this morning. The only thing that has changed is that I closed FM yesterday and re-opened it this AM. So I suppose something was unstable yesterday.
To answer your question, it was doing it with every categories.
Thanks.

Okay. If you can reproduce the problem again, please let me know.

I think I am experiencing the same problem with the rebalance report. When I click on an investment goal in the report I'm expecting to see a drill down report showing everything included in that category. That way if the category is over-weighted I can look for something to sell. Instead I get the opposite, everything NOT included in that category. I use this function often and I know if used to work properly. - Steve

Hi SteveP,
I'm not able to reproduce this, but maybe I'm not using the necessary settings. Can you reproduce this?
What version of Fund Manager are you using?

Hi Mark, I did some experimenting and it seems to depend on having a security excluded from the report. I have one security that I don't want to include at all and I do so with the filter on the symbol. If I don't exclude that security the report works fine. Also I am using the Goal Allocation. Might be the same thing on Asset allocation but I haven't tried that. - Steve

Hi Steve,
Thanks much for that tip. I was able to reproduce this issue. We'll get this corrected for the next release.

Why would an Asset Allocation report total more than 100%? Plain vanilla report, no changes to settings. A report for a shorter and more recent period comes out close enough to be a rounding error. I am still using Pro vers: 2022.17.0.100.

Hi Houstonwb,
Can you send/post a screenshot of the actual report? Do you have any negative values?
