Excluding 'zero' investments in reports

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Postby trqcsc » Sat Jan 01, 2011 4:39 pm

Hi Mark,

Each year I carry forward more investments that have previously been sold and have a zero value. I have tried to choose report preferences that exclude investments that are zero at the end of the year, but these investments still continue to show up. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Randy

Hello Randy,

You can "hide" those investments that you've sold. For instructions, see:

http://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/faq_hide_sold.php

Make sure you have "View / Hidden Investments/Portfolios" turned off, or else everything will always show, even if it is hidden or you have the report option to hide zero shared investments turned on.
Thanks,
Mark
