Sorting Custom Reports.

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Hi Mark,

Is there a way to sort how custom reports appear on the Reports dropdown menu?

I have four reports I run weekly. Each report gets appended to a single pdf file so the order in which I run the reports is important. I've tried prefixing each report with 1, 2, 3 etc. so that the first report appears at the top of the list, the second is next, etc. But when I go back to the Reports dropdown menu, the order is 3, 4, 2, 1. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks.

Hi aviator,

The memorized reports at the bottom of the top level "Reports" menu are listed in the order they were originally created. Also, if you delete one, a new one will get put in that deleted one's spot. It is a little convoluted, and should be improved, to probably list alphabetically.

If you have 4 memorized reports, you could do this:

1) Create all 4 of those memorized reports, so they are open.
2) Select "Reports / More Memorized..." and delete all of your memorized reports.
3) Now, go and memorize each of those 4 open report windows, starting with the one you want to appear on the top of the list.
Thanks,
Mark
