Cost basis report

What is the best way to generate a report to provide the cost basis of individual portfolio holdings on any specified date.

Hi glenm,

If you want the tax basis of each un-sold lot as of a particular date, use the Open Lots report. Set the "Options / Report Preferences... / Open Lots / Tax Basis" field to be on.

If you want the tax basis of each investment, where all owned lots for a given investment are combined into 1 number, use a Custom report with the "Tax basis, Assigned Method" field.
