Year-on-year Performance of an Investment

I may well have missed this, but is there a report or graph that shows the year-on-year ROI or Time Weighted Return for an investment that I have held for a number of years?? I want to use this alongside the Yield Options given in the Preferences dialogue.

The nearest I can get is to create a Custom report using the 1-year ROI or TWR option and then setting a number of (one-year long) date ranges - I'm hoping there is an easier way!

Hi Roy,

You could create a "Monthly Performance" report, and turn on a filter by symbol. You'll get all the monthly returns, but on the right you'll get a total for each year as well. Since you have the symbol filter it will be reported for just the symbol you've requested.

Besides this report, your method of using a Custom report is also an option. You can memorize it if you'd like to use it often.
