Problem with portfolio value report

I always generate my reports sorted by symbol within sub-portfolio.

I added a new investment (IVR) to a sub-portfolio (IRA), and it is always sorted first instead of in alphabetical order by symbol.

Hi cbenenax,

The report settings is set to "List By" symbol, which is not the same as sorting by symbol. When you list by symbol, the symbols are displayed in the order of the investment stack. If you select "Investments / Sort By / Symbol" this will sort the investment stack by symbol, and thus your report will be sorted by symbol.
