Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

I've been using the Personal version for a couple of years. However I'm starting to run asset management for a number of clients. So now client reporting becomes an issue.
I've taken a look at the Advisor version and found "Executive Summary". However what I find in ES is not sufficient.
Can I compose custom reports of different tables and graphs to create a usable report that can be distibuted to clients? I would want to add Performance tables, Value Overlay Graphs, Pies, add performance measures such as Sharpe, Stdev and text. Can I also create my own formulas e.g. Sortino or VaR?
As an alternative - can I export a bulk of portfolios? I know I can export portfolio Portfolio Value, Asset Type etc one by one, but that's not a solution if you have 30 plus portfolios.

Hi Milli,
The only report that has both graphs and report figures on a single report is the Executive Summary. If you would like different graphs, besides the pie charts, you would need to print out a graph for your clients. You can customize which pie chart is shown on the Executive Summary report with "Options / Report Preferences... / Executive Summary".
You can create a Custom report to add any of those fields, and you can define your own fields by writing a formula.
You can do bulk printing for all your clients. See "File / Batch Printing...". One of the output format options is a CSV file for your reports, so you can do a bulk export of report data this way.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for rapid reply.
I've tested the bulk print and it works fine for tables and graphs.
Is there a similar function to batch the portfolio time series - I need that to calculate portfolio metrics not present in Fundmanager? Having the time series would also allow me to automate reports e.g. in Excel or a BI tool - using the batch print for tables and graphs and from that create usable reports is a lot of manual work.

Hi Milli,
By "portfolio time series" are you talking about the "File / Export / Other / Portfolio Value..." command? If so, no, there is no way to automate that for each client.
Ideally you would not need to export from Fund Manager to get the client ready reports you need. That is the purpose of Fund Manager, to provide these for you. Can you describe what you'd like to see available from within Fund Manager so you could directly create all the client reports you need?

Hi Mark,
I'll make an example for you. Where can I post it or attach?

Hi Milli,
I've just sent you an email, you can reply to that with an attachment. Unfortunately this forum doesn't support attachments. You could post it on some other site, and put a link to it, or just send me an email attachment.
