Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

I have 15000 Rosemost IL bond that I transferred in at a value of 15000. Why does it show it on the Portfolio Performance with an end value of 30147. It shows on the Porfolio Value at 14397 which is okay.

Hi sinouye,

If you have the same ending date, the ending value in the Portfolio Performance report should always equal the value in the Portfolio Value report. Please double check you have the same ending report dates, and are looking at the exact same investment.

The value of any investment is simply the number of shares you own times the market price on that date. So, check the share balance, and also look at your closing price for that date. The closing price is shown on the Portfolio Value report, but is not on the Portfolio Performance report. You can also see the price by looking in the Data Register under the "Prices" data type.
Thanks,
Mark
