Report Dates - Earliest Price or Transaction to date

I am running some reports for ROI and TWR over time. It probably does not matter which "type" of report I am running as the question below is probably relevant to any reports when choosing "earliest" date choices for the date range.

When I pick Earliest Price or Transaction to date as my time frame the Report also uses "hidden investments" dates as the set of Dates to evaluate for "Earliest" results. I don't want this to happen as in this case the Hidden investments are sold. I would prefer to be able to "toggle" the "Earliest" Price or Transaction Dates to include only the non-hidden investments or use the hidden investments if they are "turned on" under the View choice. Can you advise if this is possible? If it is not possible it would be fantastic to allow for this. Thanks.

As a followup - it might be that I am not understanding the "why" for this workflow vs computations for ROI and TWR. Thanks.

Hi Bsrr,

It isn't an option to have "Earliest Price/Transaction" date ranges use only displayed investments. These date range choices look at all open investments in the selected sub-portfolio when determining the dates. Thanks for the idea/feedback.

Yes you did answer my question so thank you.

I assume by "open" investment that means hidden as well since they are not "closed" but still part of the investment/portfolio historical data set (no need to answer this if correct as I am just verifying I am understanding correctly).

And yes it would be nice to have "Earliest Price/Transaction" date ranges as an option. Please do put on your software feature list build plan. Thanks again.
