Portfolio Value report

Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Postby flight » Sat Nov 29, 2014 2:25 pm

Hi Mark,

1) Is there any way to turn off the % in the Portfolio Value report? When you start bringing in 4,5,6 dates, there is too much info on the screen, in my opinion

2) I frequently have to use the File->File Operations->Hide Sold Investments function, but it always defaults to the current day, and I have to change it every time. If I am running the Portfolio Value reports for particular date or series of dates, it would be helpful for it to automatically know that and default to that date. I never need to use it for the current date ,which it defaults to.

Thanks!

Hi flight,

1) You can create a Custom report with all the same fields, except for the %. You can memorize it if you'd like to use it often.

2) Okay, thanks for the feedback.
Thanks,
Mark

Hi flight,

To re-create a Portfolio Value report minus the % field as a Custom report, use these 3 fields:

Share price (ending)
Shares (ending)
Value (ending)
Thanks,
Mark
