Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Postby nrsmd » Sun Jul 07, 2013 10:31 am

I must be doing something wrong. I set up a mater portfolio which contains 5 accounts each in Fidelity. The Mater Portfolio is to the far left and indexed are 5 folders below, indented a few spaces. When I set them up and reconciled, all the information for each account downloaded as it should have for each Fidelity Account. Saved everything.

But when I try to view the portfolio data (under reports), all listings are grayed out, so nothing is viewed.

Did I set up my Master portfolio wrongly or am I not hitting the right buttons?

I know this is as basic as it gets, but I am stuck.

Hi nrsmd,

It sounds like you have things set up properly. What menu command are you specifically choosing, and what is grayed out specifically? What if you do a "Reports / Portfolio Value" and bring up the "Report Settings" dialog? Does that work okay? You should be able to set any report options, and then press "Done" and see your report. Accepting all the defaults and just pressing "Done" should create you a Portfolio Value report.
Thanks,
Mark
