Hi Mark,

Every morning, I like to get a "big picture" of my investment strategies, so I go through the same routine.

I look at the following:

1) my portfolio graph overlaid with the graphs of it's subportfolios (the investment strategies which make up the portfolio).

- This way, I am able to view, at a glance, how my portfolio is doing, and how the strategies within the portfolio are contributing to the portfolio's performance.

2) my portfolio graph overlaid with the graphs of some benchmark strategies

- to see how my portfolio is doing relative so some standard benchmarks.

3) A pie chart of my current portfolio allocation

- by asset class
- by region
- by risk on/risk off

4) a report, by month of my portfolio performance

5) a report, by subportfolio, of total %gain/%loss.

So each morning I need to set up these graphs, with all their overlays, and then set up the reports reports up from scratch.

It's the same every morning.

Is there any way to define a dashboard with all the graphs I need to see, and save that, so that each morning, I don't have to redefine everything again from scratch, and I can just bring up my dashboard with all my favorite predefined graphs and reports.

It would save so much time!

Thanks for your consideration.

Hi investor425,

You can do this with portfolio files now. Create all the graphs/reports you want, and then use "File / Save Portfolio". You can have multiple graphs/reports all open at the same time. When you open your portfolio next time (which by default is automatically opened when you open FM), it will re-create all the graphs/reports that you had open when you last saved the portfolio.
Thanks,
Mark

Fantastic ! I didn't realize it also saved all the open reports and graphs.
Yes that's perfect.
Thanks so much.
