Formatting All Investment Names

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

More of a cosmetic issue - I get data downloaded from more than one brokerage. It seems that some of them format a stock name as all caps, some as all lower case, some as mixed case. Is there a way to or could a feature be added to change investments names automatically to a desired format pattern, so they are displayed consistently when I look at the list of investments, and when data is downloaded it would still be able to match on the investment name regardless of case?

Thanks,

Hi Oscar,

Yes, this could be done. Right now, when you retrieve, the name is brought in un-modified as specified by the broker. We could add an option that gives you control over automatically adjusting the case. This wouldn't impact future retrievals, as the matching is done off the CUSIP anyway. Thanks for the idea/feedback.
Thanks,
Mark
