N/A clutter

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Really wish, when viewing 'top level' list of sub-portfolios, you could suppress all the 'N/A' being displayed - way too much clutter of meaningless information on the screen...would look a lot neater with just blank space for those!

Hi gmsimon,

Blank spaces will be shown if the field isn't appropriate for a sub-portfolio, like share price. However, if the field is appropriate, but cannot be calculated for some reason, then it displays "N/A". What fields do you have that are displaying "N/A" for sub-portfolios?
Thanks,
Mark

My screen looks like this:
Master Portfolio
Fidelity Account ....portfolio totals displayed on single line....
USAA Account
Watch List
Benchmark Indices
etc.

The columns showing N/A include: Symbol; Shares; Basis/Share; Unrealized Gain/Share; High; Low; Price; Change; Alert; Alert Distance; Price Target; Custom; Yield Inception. These should all be blank at the portfolio level...

I see data in these columns: Name, % of {all} Portfolio {column sums to 100%}, Acquired {date created}, %Change, Value Change, Basis, Unrealized Gain, & Unrealized %Gain (all of which I would expect to see data and I do).

Hi gmsimon,

Thanks, I see this problem too. This isn't the intended behavior, and we'll get this fixed.
Thanks,
Mark
