Omit stock from Portfolio Performance

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Can I omit certain positions from performance reporting?

I hold a large position of a stock that I provide no advice on and hold as an accommodation for a good client. The stock should not be included in the performance as I provide no advice on it.

Can I omit this from reporting?

Thankls

Hi gcm223,

There are a couple of options:

1) Use a report filter, and set to exclude the symbol of this one investment. This will only work if you don't also hold that security in the managed part of his account. It will also only work if there is only a single symbol you want to exclude, as you can only pick one. It sounds like in your case this option would work.

2) You could organize your sub-portfolios in such a manner that this investment is not included in your report. For example:

Code: Select all
- All Clients
  - John Smith
    - Managed
      - Acct 1
      - Acct 2
    - Un-managed

and then only report on his "Managed" sub-portfolio.
Thanks,
Mark
